Voicing Grief
—the release and liberation tools you’ve been looking for to help you transform stuck emotions, lift the heavy weight from your heart and turn deep pain into wisdom
Your Grief has a voice. Are you listening?
We often hear that "time heals all wounds." But what if, instead of fading, your grief feels more intense with each passing moment of silence? What if, instead of healing, it's becoming a knot of unexpressed emotion, a weight you carry in your body?
The truth is, time doesn't heal—intentional release does.
Grief isn’t a silent journey. It's a human experience, and it needs your voice. So much of the time, grief stays trapped in our body because it feels overwhelming, too much to face. Grief comes in all shapes and sizes, from all over the place. We are always grieving something, whether it be the loss of a loved one, a relationship, a dream, or even the loss of a part of ourselves. Grief is heavy, and truly hard.
And sometimes, even when we long to release the tears, they simply won't come. Or they threaten to, only to retreat, leaving us feeling stuck and frustrated. This is a common experience, a sign that grief has become deeply embedded in our bodies. It's a testament to the fact that grief is not just an emotion, but a physiological reality.

What happens when grief is left unexpressed?
Your body becomes a storage unit for pain.
Emotions get trapped in your muscles, creating tension and discomfort. You might experience unexplained aches, pains, or a constant feeling of tightness, particularly in your throat and jaw, leading to headaches and a sense of constriction.
Your energy drains away and gets heavier.
Unexpressed grief can lead to persistent fatigue and exhaustion. You might feel like you're constantly dragging, heavy, and lacking the vitality and motivation to engage with life fully.
Your breath becomes shallow and restricted.
The very act of breathing, which should be a natural and life-affirming process, becomes strained. You might find yourself holding your breath, or taking short, shallow breaths, further restricting the flow of energy and emotion.
You lose connection with yourself.
Over time, unexpressed grief creates a distance between you and your self. You might feel like you're not truly present in your own life, or that you're simply going through the motions.
It doesn't simply disappear. Instead, it transforms into a heavy burden, a knot of unexpressed emotion that embeds itself in your very being.

Hi! I’m Chelsea…
Artist. Entrepreneur. Vocal Coach. Mentor. Creative Engineer. Pursuer of Truth.
I use the concept of voice as a way to guide you in speaking your truth to cultivate a deeper, more meaningful -and aligned- relationship with yourself and your work.
Sound has been my main medium of personal expression, however, the things I have learned through studying sound TRANSCEND the medium. What I have derived from my study of voice, music, and vibration is that it is just a vehicle for our essence, our identity to come through, and that our voice starts deep within us and is expressed through our everyday actions, our decor, our photographs, our business, our cooking, the way we move, and the way we communicate with others. I believe…
You can transform lives with the sound of who you are.
-
My goal is to expand the definition of voice to include both aspects and use the term voice as a more holistic part of who we are, so that we can be more of ourselves. Through my specific training in the physiological aspect of the voice, I have had the privilege of making connections between these inner and outer worlds. Voice has been an incredible metaphor to me that has resulted in physical and emotional transformations I could’ve never imagined heading into this field.
While I worked primarily as a voice, piano and songwriting coach for many years, I noticed that the biggest breakthroughs happened working on the psychological aspects of the voice and personal expression, and that changing the mindset or the mind maps could create tangible changes, without activating the motor skills needed to perform the action.
This journey has extended into —and expanded— my teaching and way of thinking of voice in all the contexts and ways in which I use it.
